In the Sasso Torrasco area, between Mornera and Albagno, there is a spectacular via ferrata immersed in the Sementina Valley and with a beautiful view on the Magadino plain and Monte Tamaro towards the south.
If offers the combination of three difficulty levels from which even the easiest can be quite challenging with some athletic moves and airy (exposed) steps. You can be sure that your adrenaline level will be high and your muscles will have a nice workout during the day while enjoying an amazing panorama over central Ticino.
The tour starts with the cable car from Monte Carasso to Mornera – the ticket is not icluded in the price (between 12 – 19 CHF for a return ticket)

Requirements
- Health & Fitness: Good general health is required, you need to be able to hike and climb up for 3-4 hours.
- Mental State: You should be sure-footed and absolutely free from vertigo (no fear of heights).
- Medical Conditions: You must inform your guide about any chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, or heart issues. Most guides require you to bring your own emergency medication (e.g., inhaler, EpiPen). Any kind of serious previous injuries, back problems, knee problems. Contact us in case you have a doubt
- Age: 10 years at least
- Weight limit: Max. 125 kg or 275 lbs
- Sobriety – no alcohol or drugs before the tour
What should I bring?
- Trekking boots or approach shoes (no sneakers!)
- Rain jacket
- Enough food for the day (light snacks, sandwiches, energy bars)
- Min 2l of water
- Synthetic or merino sports underwear
- Spare contact lenses or straps for your glasses.
- Any personal medications such as asthma spray, epi-pen, or allergy medication
- Notify your guide about your medical condition.
